RGB-PI Jamma Coin button mapping?

Anyone know how to map the coin button in OS/4 with RGB PI Jamma?

Usually you'd map start and coin to Player one start button on a jamma set up but it doesn't seem to like that if remap via the OS. Coin mech on cab has been disconnected as says not good for the RGBPI Jamma hat.

you could wire the start button(s) to both the start and coin inputs on the jamma connector, so it triggers both.

try start 1 to coin 1 and start 2 to coin 2, or you need to use a couple of diodes so both starts do coin 1 but start 1 doesn't do start 2 (and vice versa)

I do have a working coin mech, seems one option is to keep using it and then put a diode inline on coin1 pin to protect the board. If could do that for the odd game that doesn't have a free play and perhaps do rest dipswitches in game or core into freeplay modes?

I took out a camlock on the coin mech door and replaced with a special button. I use it for name slider, but same principal

Impressed with the RGBPI Jamma overall, you get a very good set up for an overall outlay of about £80 (using a Pi4 2gb). It's neat, self contained, very compact and easy to set up and install. The OS is simple but has just what need and nothing you dont. I think prefer it to Groovymame for just arcade/mame use.

Just got another one for my vertical cabinet which has a 3 button config.... anyone know how you favourite games and add them to your list when no 4th button? (By default it uses the 4th button which don't have on this second cab).

Just for anyone coming across this later... you can also do it if on the game list screen press start so it brings up the 'Sort by Name/Developer' etc screen and then 'Set/Unset Favourite' didn't see that before.... idiot.

I added a swith to the coin reject button and when you press it it smashes into the switch !!!

Also added a small switch where the lock should be !
