First Sir Clive Sinclair, then Jimmy Greaves then John Challis.
If it wasn't for Sir Clive I wouldn't have got into computers probably, or perhaps not when I did, first computer I had was what was previously my sister's ZX Spectrum +. Then later on got a +3.
Always remember watching Saint and Greavsie on the telly (or rather I think my dad watched it along with Grandstand, so I probably ended up watching quite a few of them despite not being that much into football!) back in the 80's/90's, was only discussing it briefly with my dad the other day. I played him the theme tune from Saint and Greavsie to see if he could remember what it was from! I seem to remember Jimmy doing the telly reviews for a while on TV-AM (although i'd have been pretty young!) back in the day!
And of course everyone remembers John Challis as Boycie, one of the most memorable characters in comedy, probably mainly because of the laugh!
