So about 3 weeks ago I bought this Sega Rally 1 Twin machine for 500 euro, as you can see the right screen was swapped for a LCD of some kind but there was a nanao 29inch and the original seats included with the deal.

Problems that the seller told me where left side monitor has a vertical collapse, and right side PCB does nothing at all.

So for sure the machine looks great he did some restoration on it but gave up on the electronics part.

I found this great video for the vertical collapse!
Started with measuring all caps in the vertical deflection part and I found out that C598 (47 µf 16v) was open and C407 (100 µf 35v) had an esr of 49 ohm!
After replacing those caps and the LA7837 ic it came back to life!

So PCB 1 and 2 where swapped so I put them back to their original place and i saw the image below sorry for the blurry picture but you can see that the PCB does something but not the right thing for sure at least the monitor worked now.

So I tested my Manx TT PCB and that worked just fine so I started swapping boards around, and I noticed when swapping over the rom board to my Manx TT stack the game would display but link did not work, so i swapped over the communication board and then the game worked again! Funny thing is that my Manx TT stack also works fine so it probably was a bad contact somewhere?

So the repaired monitor still has some issues like the green stripes it shows and the horizontal cant get small enough to fit on the screen but will be working on that soon and also at the same time working on my Scudrace from Hell :)
