Hi all,

I’m new to the coin mech set up on the mvs, and all arcade machines.

The machine is currently set to 30p per play and I’m trying to change that to 20p per play.

I’ve been in the settings and on the mobo manual I can set the coin chute. How do I change the price per credit and how do I know it’s 20p? I’ve noticed more dip switches on the coin mech PCB .

I’m not sure how to set it to 20p still?

Still trying to solve this, the coin controls c220 is set to accept coins (10p, 20p, 50p £1 & £2) by the pcb. So I don't think adjust the credit amount is there. I've looked through the manual and multiple other forums and the only thing i found was from a pinball site, where adjusting cost is driven by the pin's software. There is no other information i can find online around this, so it must be a pretty unpopular requirement. I would have thought it could be set from the book keeping menu, but there is no way to set pricing there either.

If I remember rightly, this is done via a credit board attached the c220. Again, if memory serves, they use either a Klingon or Excel credit board. Find out which board you have and you should be able to find some info on what dips need setting for 20p a credit.

Here's some info I found after a quick search (bear in mind, you might not have either of these credit boards or a different version):

Klingon: http://www.swallowam.co.uk/credit.php
Excel: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1375961/Sega-Double-Spin.html?page=71#manual

I looked further into this and I’d need another unit that plugs into the coin mech. Through this it can be programmed. I’m not going to pursue that route any further.
