Hi All

I am trying to get into the service menu to do some tweaks but I a, have no joy. Does anyone know the code?

I have tried

- TV in Standby

Display

5 button

Vol+

Power On

....but the TV doesn't power on.

Any ideas?

(?) button, also shows as (i+)
then 5
then volume up
then ( ), the top left button

I don't think I got i+ on any of my remotes and whats () button?

I don't think those are the remotes for that TV? I have two remotes and are both double sided.
the ( ) is underneath the power button on the middle remote and the i+ is to display all the on screen information.

I used to have this model TV (my 1st new TV. Lol) and remember being peeved off because the RGB input on the scart socket was shifted over to the left for all my sources.

Good luck getting into the service menus and tweaking things.

OK I found another remote, I am in lol.

Now just need to find the horizontal tweak

On mine it's under as H SHIFT and H SIZE, it's best to write the settings down too.

That's strange, usually its the buttons that change the brightness and contrast that change the values.

This could be one of two things, you can only adjust the values while on a standard tv channel, or that you are sending an NTSC via scart rather than PAL.

can navigate with the ceefax buttons it its like they are locked. Manual option off kinda thing

anyone help me with this one....

When I connect a console via rgb scart I don't get an image on the screen. If I press the teletext button I get an image on the screen with the number 100 in the corner. Once I exit teletext the image back to a blank screen?

Any ideas

can you confirm your remote control is fully working ok, ie. the button to switch between TV/AV etc, and the channel up/down volume up/down
