I've been keeping a lookout for one of these for about 2 years. Does anyone know how to adjust the screen glitch described in the item description?

cap kit = replace all the electronic capacitors in the monitor...

its the sort of thing, that if you have to ask what a cap kit is, then repairing it yourself is not an option

I would have suggested also putting in a new monitor, but as it would probably be an open frame monitor, ie very high voltages easily and accidently available to touch and kill/mame/disfigure you I wont suggest that

leave it to the experts... ie tv repairman/shop

Do such things still exist?

(I kinda being half funny... the more I actually think about it, the more I
realise that I haven't seen a TV Repair shop in years!)

The seller is describing sync tear at thetop of the screen.. this is a
very minor problem, and twiddling the h.sync or some of the associated
horizontal frequency adjustments will proabbly just nock it back into
place..

If that doesn't do it, then just live with a little bit of a slant in
the top of the screen... most people wouldn't care much if it doesn't
affect the game... you can point to most collectors machines and see
this, its not a big deal.

Or you can act like a girl about it and replace the whole monitor :p

A little bit of tear never hurt anybody, and you'll proabbly just
adjust it out.

buy it, play it, love it.

Or, if you are brave and you can take the chassis (PCB) off the tube I
should be able to repair it for £40 plus parts :)

Cheers,
Craig
