At the end of the day, when you think Atari were knocking out thousands of cabs using ultra crap particle board, any type of ply is going to be a better job than that! Even Williams, using MDF for lower front kick panels on some Defenders.....bonkers when the rest of the cab was ply anyhow.

Customshop Designs (first place I went to) revised their quote to £200 when I told them I needed 2 side panels (they obviously didn't put two and two together (sorry!) and realise I would need two side for a cabinet).

Emailed a couple of other local companies but 18mm ply from Customshop Design is looking like the way to go.

Please keep us informed of your attempts to find a decent company. After this thread you've got me thinking about getting a couple of cabinets made up where I just can't seem to find the game forsale over here. Galaga/Wide Body Nintendo, I could name a view...

Just a quickie... I built this using MDF so I could dowel and glue the joints..... the cad plans I done for this trimline are I beleive still stored on the cnc cutter i used so setup will be done making a cut cheaper than a new cnc setup so might be worth getting a quote from the same place I used for the 1 off build, let me know if you want to try this route
