TECH: Data I/O model 29B eprom programmer

Long shot I know but ... Does anybody have one of these programmers ? I require a copy of the manual as it is not very user friendly. Hopefully, this programmer will handle the 2708's with multiple voltages? Thanks in advance.

We have one at work and i think it does handle 2708's. We also have manuals but i think there is three in the set. Any particular info you are looking for? Let me know

Hello Peter,

The particular info that I need is ... How to use the bloody thing! I have absolutely no idea how it works. I'm really only interested in basic operations i.e.load ROM, burn ROM for the more obscure parts that my other programmer can't handle .i.e. 2708 and TTL proms as used in Atari hardware.

Ideally I'd like to borrow the manuals and scan the pages but as they are not yours to loan then this is probably not possible.

In short, any info at all would be most appreciated !
