I've finally identified a Konami board I have as Konami Tutankham (It has no GX number on it - do you want any details?).

I've wired a harness for it but get no video at all.
Â
It's in near perfect condition but has an empty 24 pin socket at 12 - i on the main board. Should this socket be populated? If so what with (please don't say one of those bastard custom video chips ;�c )
