have found it to be very fiddly, and when i say very....i mean a LOT

also i was really disappointed with the resolution of some of the games, possibly because i was playing them on a high res monitor though

TP prefers Nvidia GPUs than AMD. Ive not had too much trouble with it.

You will likely need shader patches at some point and they are found in the TP discord, a group of us also have a couple of discords for emulation/help and roms so I can most likely help with links to stuff.

Yeh does not look easy to config , I have never used it before. My test machine in on board graphics so I need to get this on my gaming PC when i can get too it. I can only get Aliens Extermination to run. Other start to load and quit. HOTD 4 missing DLL's but not 100% sure what the executables are to run as some seem to be .elf files (Like Rambo) I need to look into this further and learn the system a bit.

TP isn't too hard, but you can't just scan a roms dir like most emulators, you have to add the right exe or elf, define controls per game (also can't mix dinput and xinput) and occasionally need a shader patch, the info is out there tho, also some games come as an iso and need 7-zip to extract properly, also a few have some files that will cause your pc to hang on transfer unless deleted (HOTD4 is a prime example of this).

Got most of the driving games working great, had issue with some like Ford Racing, think it was steering not working but just needs config changing for steering

Most seem to be just finding the correct start file like zed says, some games tell you the correct file to look for and others don't, I hadn't got AB Climax working yet but hadn't tried to much as was mainly setting up for driving cabs, did try some shooting ones with Sinden which worked okay on most

This is a weird one , have 2 installs (One on my server and one on my machine at work) and half the games missing on one ????



One missing game sis a newer version. I was looking for the Sega Racing Classic.

Do a clean install of TP seems like you have lost some of the game xml files

I can sort you out on this mate with a nice copy and paste ! PM me if interested save you hours of wasted time ! I use a standalone version of coinops with games already cincluded/configured.

I have for about 4 folk on here sorted them a solid state hdd drive ..

For a small fee I will transfer it to the hdd.

Takes about 1 hour for it to transfer over has all the usual suspects on it .

Loads more available games for it so a 500 gb min is advisable.
