I dug out a Mega CD the other day to recap it and have a play. It was never great when it came out, but time hasn't been kind to it.

I got one for Final Fight CD. It was always the dream conversion as a kid so had to try it (as an adult). Plays well imo.

I love Mega CD.
If they’d done more games that weren’t focussed on FMV like PC Engine CD stuff then it would have done a lot better I reckon.
Gen 1 Mega CD is a gorgeous piece of kit too
