[ukvac] ukvac FAQ, update & plea for help.
hi peeps!
right! in between HD's melting at work and a few 7 o'clock starts/8 o'clock
finishing, the UKVAC faq is gaining shape..
basically i need some peoples to donate info, as it would be *far* better
answered by people who are more "in-the-know" (ahem) rather than stick in my
possibly incorrect efforts...
the info needed as follows....
* vector stuff - all the basics, what was the 1st vector game, what was the
last, why where vectors monitors used, basic differences between
vector/raster.
* a brief history of UKVAC would be nice with details of some of the 1st
members (i'd say that the peeps @ ukvac 1.0 would class as the early
members - so that counts me out for a start
i think a current membership
roll is out of the scope of this at the moment, but i dunno..wasn't there
plans for our mugshots taken @ 1.5 to be 'webbed? rav?)
please, please, please forward any info to me adam@accltd.com and not the
group (even though it's been dead!)...
..at a risk of opening up the floodgates if anyone's got any bright ideas
forward 'em as well...no price guides please!
ok, that's it for the time being..sorry 'bout the delay, but its is on
hand..honest
PS 1st preview of the UKVAC FAQ;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q) Qix. Is it pronounced "kicks" or "quicks"?
A) To the dismay of *many* people on the list it was found that Qix is
indeed, pronounced as "kicks". Argue about this issue at your peril!
