Unreleased Goldeneye 007 Leaked (Xbox360)

Seen this morning, that the Rom for an un-released remaster of the original N64 game that was planned for the Xbox360 has been leaked. You can toggle between original N64 or remastered version. It has all the original cast likenesses too, such as Brosnan as Bond. So its very different to the Goldeneye remake that was eventually put out.

I was actually just playing the original on my N64 about 10 minutes ago! Control was being nice to me for once, there were no guards shattering the side windows and shooting Natalya before I can get to them. Hopefully the frame rate of the 360 version is better, Jungle is a bit of a slideshow in some places.

I played it via the Xenia emulator tonight.

It’s really nice to play it at 60 FPS with vastly improved textures at 1440p. You can switch to the old textures on the fly and relive the N64 greatness too!

Thanks for posting, I’d never used a 360 emulator before today and would have missed this.

You can downloaded mouse and key support now.

It plays surprisingly well and all rendered at 1440p 60 FPS!

It’s amazing how many of the levels have stayed in my subconscious, dormant for all those years. I might have a go at getting all the cheats again although I remember a few being a right bugger.

Bought an rgh xbox 360 on ebay for about £50... took no time to load the game via a USB stick.

And its beautiful....

I urge anyone with fond memories of this to give it a go.
