Very happy right now

I'm a very happy camper right now as my auntie just found her old NES which me and my family spent many, many hours on when i was little. I thought all my childhood consoles were long gone then this one appears! It's so nice to have something I had as a kid. It's survived very well over the years too!

So happy to have this back, sadly it's missing the zapper and mario/dunt hunt game but otherwise it's complete.

Thanks guys! yeah it really is in nice condition I was surprised she still had it let alone had it boxed.

I'm going to try and get a box protector for it. I also plan to play Zelda which i never played on the NES on it soon (once i find a cart).

A have a nice 14" Sony Trinitron for it to go on. Should look fantastic!

about 10 years ago i really enjoyed going through zelda on the nes, hope u get hold of the cart

ps. it uses a battery back-up save (a watch type battery.. CR2032 i think) inside the cart, so if i were u, u might wanna check the battery is still good, or be prepared to put in a new battery (i cant imagine getting very far in that game without saving progress)

Thanks for the link, already bought a replacement battery for when i do locate a cart haha!

I'm pretty handy with all this sort of stuff I actually used to refurbish NES consoles and Game Gear's.
