Happy NY everyone.

Thought it was about time I sorted a VPN and remembered some advice previously sought on the forum but couldn't find the posts through the search.

Anyway, Nord looks like the VPN I want to go with, but I'm currently unable to access their website...possibly thanks to my ISP (Virgin Media)?

Sooo, quick couple of questions please:

I think I can register through the iOS app on my phone - anyone know if I can then use this subscription for my Windows laptop, or is it a one-device deal?

Second, anyone with Virgin Media using Nord had any issues with it?

Thanks in advance

I'm using Nord VPN with Virgin Media and have no issues. Strange that you can not access the website, nordvpn.com I presume? It's showing up fine here with Nord turned off.

You can secure up to six devices at one time using using NordVPN. Here's the blurb from the site which unfortunately you can't see:

Do you use Windows at work, macOS at home, and Linux for your special projects? No problem. There’s a NordVPN application for each of these, plus apps for iOS, Android, and Android TV. Oh, and also encrypted proxy extensions for Chrome and Firefox. Best of all, with one NordVPN account, you can secure up to 6 devices at the same time.

Thanks FrancoB, that's perfect!

I can't connect to nordvpn.com using either wi-fi (Virgin) or 4G on my phone (O2), not sure why...was getting a bit paranoid neither Virgin nor O2 want me signing up for a VPN

I have paid subscriptions whatever is best deal at time.

So have used IP vanish and ExpressVPN .

These have both worked on a set number of devices including KODI on librelec and Windows 10.

I just tend to see what is in top ten and what price is at the time for a year subscription.

Make sure to turn of the auto renew mind !!

I used Express VPN while in China and it worked flawlessly defeating the notorious firewalls over there. No way the kids would have survived without Facebook and YouTube for 3 weeks otherwise!

if you are going for Nord, make sure to use one of the discount codes from youtubers can save a big wad!

I have a lifetime subscription to TigerVPN, has been great so far
and I also have a 3 year Nord vpn. ive found that my speeds are faster with Tiger, but nord has more points to connect to, I had to use a VPN to post on here while i was in Japan.

https://nordvpn.com/special/deal/

Im also using Virgin, didnt have any problems connecting to their site

I got my lifetime Tigervpn via stacksocial quite a few others on there too but I didnt have a good experience with VPN unlimited
