Half Life 2 Citadel. Now there's a building! I enjoyed the game, but got really board with it. It was too long with too much running around in the dark shooting zombies basically. But the visual work of the Citadel both inside out is simply stunning. Some of the most atmospheric and brilliant future/sci-fi stuff in any game.
I loved it, but I am a self-confessed PC/FPS whore at heart
It was a little samey in places, but I think the same accusation can be levelled at many FPS's. I remember thinking the same thing when I played Halo - for a couple of hours during one part of the game I honestly thought I was lost and going round in circles through the same part of the map. Turned out it was just some lazy-ass level design (v. overrated game IMO).
Getting back to the Burj skyscraper, I'd love to do a base jump off that bad boy (if I actually knew how to base jump without killing myself anyway
)
