pretty tidy at present as you can see ???? its my little corner of our dining room AT HOME , my real office is 60 miles away in Wales and prohibited travel just now, but here I can see on the notice board when the tax/mot/ins on our vehicles run out a few regular company contacts and odd invoices...my county council suppliers purchase order reference numbers… my posh rubber name stamper pc and printer and a wad of business cards and I think my bank cards are on there somewhere?? as I have not been out much for 12 weeks so @cash or card' money seems to have had little importance lately..!
the highlight during lockdown is having the wife's photo up above with pictures of all our cousins
then as a special treat during lockdown depression ... I can 'talk' to 'Barny Rubble' who is making a personal visit recovering from surgery on his knee muscle (new string) He doesn't say much tho'
How many arcade related items can you spot? 25 bonus points and 'a ton of street cred' for naming that video game pcb on the printer ? … its a bit like 'where's Wally ' and usually when I find stuff (like my araldite which had been missing for weeks) its a celebration as it often goes undisturbed otherwise...……. it just piles up ………………….. and up …………………………………………………. and up till I realise half the things normally live in the workshop
just enough space to get on ukvac .. aol news/email .. and ebay …. and a few other internet sites.
WHY WOULD YOU NEED ANY MORE? I don't engage in pc based & web games (have plenty of real ones)
there is on the extreme right (just visible hung on a purchase order pin)an exercise in how to solder , I have been showing my grandson... ITS OHMS LAW TRIANGLE made in 1mm copper wire V=IxR I made this one back in 1984 when I studied for my City & Guilds radio/Tv/Electronics servicing ( I must have been good at soldering even then as its never broke and always hung around the workshop).. I intend to have my grandson make one he is 16 and ready to learn from the 'master'
EDIT ; just a quick note to those who are in doubt - NO - I am not really married to Lady Penelope - she like Barny IS A PUPPET - sorry if I took you in a while with that little fib ! (I just 'wished it' back in the late 60s early 70s) and the eyes on Scott Virgil Alan Gordon and John sadly don't light up when one of our machines needs a rescue repair
would be handy tho'
