Been looking a a decent Link to the Past copy on Ebay for long time, just casually checking from time to time. Then tonight.......

Could not believe my luck when this just popped up. COMPLETE for £45.

All looks legit. Guy seems to be one of those people just clearing out his old stuff with no real care for value. These tend to go for way more normally. Be interested to know what people tend to pay for old Zelda titles these days......maybe it's not the deal I think it is, but going by ebay sales it looks a steal.

He prob paid 39.99 for it new. So gets his money back and postage / fees.
Have to say it's lovely with the top secret wallet and the map. I only have manual in mine.

if you are handy with electronics you could get the 25 year old battery out of there, get a new one in

I was amazed mine still had my near-game-end gamesave from the late 90's intact after about 16 years. I've never changed the battery. Fair point. They look the same as the MVS 1 slot mobos, and they do definitely go bad eventually.

Interesting, when they go bad do they leak or just stop working? I did recently dig out my N64 and was similarly amazed to find Super Mario still have my end of game level saves on it!

Fair Point. I remember buying a great condition NES for a lot of money 6 or so years ago. When it arrived I had a look and it still had the old receipt from Dixons in the box. Guy had paid £50 for it in 1995 when they couldn't give the things away.

Maybe this is the same here. It has Donkey Kong flyer on it and that came out way after LTTP. So I imagine he brought it late in the run.
