Hi all

I got a DK Jnr which I got from US, fired it up for the first time, works OK except for the monitor has retrace lines on half of the screen. I am really beginning to dislike CRTs!!

Can this fault be caused by chassis problems or is it going to be that the gun/yoke alignment is somehow out of whack? or something else?

Thanks
Phil

I guess a cap-kit will fix your problem.

I have had a few Sanyos with different issues, a cap-kit has worked every time.

If you have a couple of hours to spare take a look at Johns Arcade doing just that

looks like low b+ and bad caps- although the convergence does not look too tasty, possible worry concerning the yoke
replace the caps, check b+ is correct
