I've needed to do a few cabs for a while, but never bit the bullet due to not knowing the best place to get the right stuff.

I finally got some samples from ArcadeMania.
I got a few colours, but each one seemed different, some colours glossy, some not, some colours had wide teeth, the others had small and fell right off my cab.

Sega machines 95-99
had flat moulding, no dome in the centre.
Anyone know where to get that?
The machines were a Virtua Cop 2 upright, and a DX gun game.

MORTAL KOMBAT 2.
My machine has a black trim, but about 10-12mm of red raised i the centre that is a leather look texture.  Im gussying this will be too hard to find.

So what have people used, and their thoughts/review?

Yes, I have a sample of that, nice colour, but was still hoping to find something like the original electrocoin one.
its black plastic and red plastic with a leather effect.

I'll have to get a photo uploaded.

I've only ever used the stuff from AW a couple of times. It's OK but a bit plasticky and scratches easily. A source to get some quality rubbery t-mold would be good. For a JAMMA cab you'll need about 20 feet, I think. I just removed one side and measured it and doubled it. Don't forget about bits that may be fitted to the front of the cab and CP, too. Add a couple of feet on for good measure.

I have used the arcade world stuff as big10p said its not the best tbh
it dosent bend and follow the contours of the cab properly
As well as the scratching easily bit
But could not find any anywhere else in the uk at the time

I think the tenpence podcast mentioned somwhere in america (t molding.com ???) that sold good stuff in rolls
proberbly not worth bothering now with the import sting

https://www.t-molding.com/ is the only place I go to now, having tried most of the UK suppliers.

They have a great range, reasonable shipping costs and they're fast.
