Hi All
Newbie here so apologies if I seem a bit naiave!
I have a golden Tee golf machine that boots up with all noises etc the problem is that the screen is blank seemingly failing to even start up. I have checked the power supply to it and all is well but beyond that my knowledge is somewhat limited.
The model of screen is a Hantarex POLO/2 25 which I assume meabs its a POLO/2 25 inch?
Is there anywhere in east anglia area of the UK that I can get it lkooked at and repaired or is it better fro me to try and source a second hand one (is that even an option)?
I assume there is no replacement for this screen apart from like 4 like?
Any help you can give is much appreciated
Regards
Pete

have a look on how to remove a monitor chassis and send it for repair, polo 2 don't hold any charge in the anode after a 30 secs or so therefoe nothing to worry about high voltage wise
Thanks for swift reply
Where do I send it as its gonna be huge and heavy
Hoping to find someone in east anglia i can take it to?
Regards
Pete

Hi Pete,
You are only going to need to send the chassis part of the monitor away to be repaired and will fit in a small box - you are not sending off the entire tube..
Sure there will be instructional videos on YouTube but obviously while all tuned off it is fairly easy to remove the chassis .
You will need a screwdriver and a probably a small socket set to remove the chassis from the frame . You will need to carefully remove the neckboard from monitor neck and the anode cup from the top of the tube. Take some photos so you know how to reconnect it all when the chassis comes back
Sure we can talk you through it if needed. Below is a chassis similar to yours separated from the tube , this is what you will be sending off.

thank you so much for that advice ill give it a go. One question is how do i know its the chassis and not the tube itself?
Just need to find someone who can look at it and repair now then
Thanks again
Pete

No problem Pete. I know it can seem a bit daunting if you haven’t removed a monitor chassis before .
All sounds more than likely to be a chassis fault .
Is there any glow in the neck of the tube when monitor on ?
@gunblade has fixed several of my polo 2 chassis in the past so maybe you can message him?
