I'm more than skilled and experienced enough as a professional IT engineer to set this up and maintain it. it's not a new open source project or anything. i'm literally just using well maintained and supported open source software thst even companies like NASA or government agencies use to track data.
I cannot believe that this is literally the first topic coming up especially from microsoft bootlickers who may have user knowledge but aren't actually fellow professionals. keep to your excel spreadsheets and sharepoint folders, i know what i am doing and as a 33 year old i find being called a child highly insulting!

I'm just sick of people playing mr wiseguy and knowitall when they don't actualy have any clue what they're talking about and i will not use my "customer service" voice if all I'm asking for is people to contact me if they're interested in becoming a member and not to get mr.compliance having a privacy fit about his precious highscores

Yes, I for one am not thinking twice about tapping the links in their signature, not at all.
I am also very concerened about my prsonal data that's why i'm immediately shutting down any projects that i see coming if they don't make it like i tell it to them. ALso because I am SOOOO worried about my privacy I always sign up to arcade forums with my full legal government name as my username and a picture of myself as the avatar! Makes com,plete sense!

Members receive an ready to use hdd image? Is it free? Dose it come with all game roms on it?
How about the users that don't like mame? Will I be able to upload an picture of my high score?

Love seeing folk in there really enjoying gaming. Especialy Rhythm games, something I haven’t delved into.

As a venue owner (arcade club - unfortunately not “next level”) I can’t see any of my visitors wanting to set high scores on a mame machine. Also I’d not like to run unlicensed ROMs this way.
We have a verified high score system in beta test at the moment , it’s not international as such but we do display the “world record” on most games .

Todays crowd don't give an F for the high scores in Arcade places, of course there are individuals who does but you can count them on the palm of your hand. People just come to spend time with the games, and finish it using tone of free continues, not even realising that there is a high score counter and if they do, like I said before, they don't give an F about it.
There are still a few good scoreplayers in Europe (at least for shmups), but because there just aren't too many good arcades about, all of them are really limited to playing at home.
I need to make the trip up to Bury myself at some point to set some, I know a guy who's set some good scores on Ketsui there but for whatever reason he hasn't submitted them to the site
