I've just received my long searched for Cockpit. It was a US model by the plate on the cabinet but been in the UK for some while. I've seen it running in the UK and it arrived with a UK plug on it, I'm sure its not been used with a stepdown, so must be running on UK voltages.
I managed to drop the plug lead and smash it when getting it delivered, easy enough I thought just fit a new plug. Opened up plug to find a white wire going to the live fused pin and a black one going to neutral pin (green to earth).
Not seen those colours before, Google tells me that they are US power wire colours but black should be live and white neutral.
This is the opposite of the way it was wired. Any idea what to do. I don't want to correct them and damage the cockpit. The end of the power lead connects to a plug connector on the PSU in the base of the cabinet.
Whats the best way to test this all out before plugging in?
