I went in and got the following:

Big tournament golf
MOTW
Pulsar

Not been excited for any new releases in years. But this has me waiting in anticipation and looking for news everyday.

So apparently SNK have a new division called Vs SNK and have brought in the guy who designed Tekken. May mean nothing but seems like they may be looking into developing a new game/games. Whether this would be for the AES+ or not is anyone’s guess but just thought it was interesting

Yeh I saw that too..
I guess a new beatem up in one of the franchises at the very least. Most likely more .

Kids want to experience the older tech as well as us that grew up with it..
Especially in Japan .
So the market could be quite substantial, making new releases commercially viable. Looks like the people behind the re-release seem to think so .

Will probably regret it but bit the bullet today and ordered the Ultimate Pack. Will probably leave the Amazon orders as they are for now in case I change my mind again 😁
Ok I did regret it (particularly after buying a new car and insurance for my 17 year old daughter at the weekend 😁) decided I didn't really need to spend £760 on a console & games to add to the numerous other consoles, computers and games that I will never get a chance to play until I'm retired (and there's a fair chance I'll be dead before that!). I've messaged Plaion to cancel the order (somewhat surprised there wasn't just a cancel link), so will let you know how smoothly the refund goes in case anyone else decides their money is better spent elsewhere.

I looked at the white editions, then glanced at my brown Dreamcast and thought better of it.

They like to make everything difficult, I mean you could open say ebay account years back within minutes, try closing it or bank account etc, took days or weeks

Funnily enough cancel buttons are about to become EU law, directive 2023/2673 is being implemented on June 19th. UK doing its own thing in a year or so apparently.

Remember having no rights? Once you'd ordered something from Dixons your option was a pointless argument with a snotty manager.

I remember my mum bringing back my Xmas present to Dixons. An Amstrad CPC 464. Took it back at least 3 times as it wouldn't load games. With the bloody dedicated monitor too.

Fella in DIxons was sick to death of us coming back so just gave us a Light Fantastic bundle Commodore 64 and a Sanyo 14 inch TV which was a right result!

Would have been Xmas 1987. 40 years ago next xmas. Time does just fly.

I played that Commodore into the ground!

Ouch. I remember as a kid just wanting "a computer" as a shared present. I had no idea about models except I'd have loved anything displaying a few squares on the TV. Thank god someone at Dixons must have advised my mum to get a spectrum.
