Maybe one of the staff boffins wrote it. When I was at school, the only computers there were the BBC Micros personally owned by the science teachers.

Yes, it's still licensed for schools to use now.

Pretty sure the word in the tree was fig if I remember correctly, and the broom in the cupboard was the witch in disguise.

We had a game about a fox on the bbc micro that was wheeled into the classroom once a month. No idea what the aim of the “game” was – it definitely wasn’t Ivan Iron Man Stewart’s Off-Road racing or Gradius!!!
