So im guessing most of us on here got that stupid alert message then on our mobiles

I've now turned that off, i dont really want to know if im going to die to a nuclear attack

But alerting people that its hot...what next, the sky is blue alerts?

That was a piss take
Definitely ridiculous and a piss take. Patronising government control in action. Maybe it was just a message for the low IQ

well, yes, i have turned it off now, i've never had an alert like that before, but it wasnt "going off all day in work" at all
All day at work is maybe different for me in definition to you as I start at 3pm. So yes from when i started until we closed to the public all you could hear was constant alerts from phones.

It's stuff like this I'd be more concerned about, shame you can't have a grown up conversation about where all this stuff is leading too, be too late for people to worry at some point if everyone just hands them it all on a plate

The questions I was asking about the coincidence of LifeLog and Facebook was brilliant, it won't admit any link between them but achieved the same outcome of data harvesting
NOT ME Saying It just asking questions

Absolutely frightening stuff. Imagine the super artificial intelligence units running with an unlimited capacity of godly power, storing and monitoring everyone -everywhere on the planet! Plus who's really controlling that!.. Scary shit.

The alert was pretty ridiculous, really we should be tackling climate change, not banning disposable BBQs, but since I live in a rural area where many farms have suffered field/wild fires this year I can understand the intention.
What I can't understand is why anyone would think immigration is a problem but climate change isn't.
Immigration isn't a problem, billionaires burning our planet is a problem.
