14 xbox consoles

hi all
just bought 14 xbox consoles and the first one i took home tonight is a 1.6b with dead hdd and dvd drive.

dvd drive no problem but what is the quickest way of getting this running.

one of them has an xecuter 2.6ce chip but is missing the switch panel.

my idea was to mame some and upgrade the memory to see if i can make a chihiro main board for fun with the others.

i would give them away minus postage if someone wanted to mess with stuff as much as i do.

Switch panel isn't needed, it will just default to the (1st) flashed rom.

You might want to make a little harness so you can swap the chip easier between xboxs, and then flash the onboard tsops with it and install Xecuter to the HDDs, or you could use the chipped box to create softmodded HDDs that you then swap to another xbox.

Plenty of options for you to try though with a quick google.

well the 1.6 does not have a tsop to flash.ive messed with v1 through v4 with no problems as such.
might put it on the back burner for now as i have 13 more to go through LOL

i would really like to make a chihiro clone main board though.not that i have any chihiro hardware its just for kicks and maybe help someone that needs a working board.

Then for 1.6 you just need to prep a softmod HDD in the modded box.
