Cheers chaps, I cant work out whether im close to cracking it or that was a bit of a fluke credit.

Id love to 1cc this game, something I would have never thought possible as a lad.

Its quite a time commitment and is pretty hard on the hands, but its such a classic game, I will keep plugging away!

I got this board at the weekend and plumbed it into my cab yesterday and had a few goes... an opening gambit of 209800 but it's gonna be staying in the cab for the foreseeable so hopefully can keep my score creeping up.

Done! I didn't before as it's such a low score... I had a quick go at lunchtime and after a couple of terrible goes I got just over 200K again... this time reaching level 7 but obviously doing more dodging than shooting!

Just had 2 goes over lunch having not played since last score... got 362580 and to level 10... caught myself by surprise by getting to the first boss plane!

Finally finished 1942! 11,714,060. I had 5 lives left but just wanted to beat the final boss and not mess around. TGWR settings, proper hardware, complete with extra lives bug! I knew I could do it - I just had to put the time in.
