The worst one is when you spend a day sorting PCBs and get a bajillion holes poked in your hands but don't notice after a bit. So you go inside to wash the evil PCB crud off, plunge your hands in hot water and FUUUUUUUUCK, you remember that you're perforated.

Gets me every time and still I rarely remember to wear gloves

I put my hand in my pocket last week to pay for some ice cream at the cinema and managed to staple my finger to the inside lining of my coat. The girl on the till was looking at me expectantly and there was a queue forming but I didn't have the nads to tell her my hand was stuck in my pocket. After a little ineffective tugging (hi Tim!), I just smiled and ripped my fleshy pink love glove out, handing her the resulting bloody fiver as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

Still have the scar. Oh yeah.
