Adding pics to your post

Hi all,

I'm quite computer literate, but I'm completely lost trying to embed pics into the thread here.

I upload my photos to my server, add the img tags either side, but they don't appear viewable like they do on web builds or other forums.

Is this me being a numb nuts?

Any light shed on this dark question would be appreciated.

Hey Alpha, that's what I've been doing, but they won't show :/

I'll try again. The same code runs on another forum, so I did think it might have been a user restriction, until I had enough posts or something?

It must also have an http:// prefix. I don't believe just www. Will work.

Yup, it previewed just fine in the edit, but hitting the post button.

It works as I'm editing, but then removes them all when i go to post?

EDIT: I just uploaded them to the forum server and linked them - seems fine

What browser? Try a different one and let me know

Was using Google chrome in Yosemite.

try just using Safari - it's all webkit based anyhow.
