Alca bomber restore

Hi guys ..just thought I would share my alca bomber restore that's gone on for way to long after moving house and units and well life in general ..a big thanks to muddymusic for doing the artwork and giantkeeling for supplying the pics for muddy all that time ago ..johhughes for supplying the actual PCB ..I've lost most of my old photos but I'll add what I can and answer any questions that people may have..in the list of work done to this cab is full loom refurb ..must have been about 4 different games in its life ..defo an armidar with the screen burn that was in the old tube ..o a new tube well a newer tube with no burn in ..full go7 chassis rebuild with curl mod ..new power supply ..new fluorescent tube fitting for the marquee light instead of 3 normal bulbs ..new artwork ..new side vinyl Wich I think I haven't done a bad job at getting a decent match ..lots and lots of other little bits ..even down to the screws ..hope you

Will be looking for a little help with a few things tho ..installed new fuse holders as the old ones fell apart and the fuses were unreadable ..I would be looking at what rating fuses should I be using before I start a fire ..the old fuses seemed to be all the same and again I could not read what they were ..32mm fuses ..one for the 12v coin door lights ..one for the 110v monitor supply ..and one for the PCB power supply ..gonna be looking at doing the horizontal size mod too as I just can't get enough size by about an inch and a half so any input on that would be great guys thanks in advance

Top work! - Looks lovely. What did you use to clean up the coin door?

Just fully stripped the coin door and went to town with my neighbours polishing and buffing machine ..it took a hell of a lot of scratches out.. not perfect but 98% better than what it was

Superb resto! This is the Scramble cab I played in the 80's, Bomber. I love these Alca cabs.
