Alloha from Fife,
I've been proudly wasting 10p-s since the late 70s, and hours on Mame since the late 90s. My favourite games at the mo - not that I'm particularly good at them - are Rygar, Twin Cobra, Track n Field, Ghosts n Goblins, Bubble Bobble and Robotron. However, I'm more than willing to have a go at anything that doesn't involve 6 buttons or a dance mat!
Anyway, in December last year, I finally admitted to myself that tapping keys in front of an lcd screen is never going to give me the arcade fix I need. So, I resolved to get me a Jamma cab
Despite my best efforts, and assurances that there are load of these things around, I've yet to see one I like. Maybe that's because I'm never quick enough off the mark, 'coz I've yet to be in the right place at the right time, or 'coz I'm just too d*mn fussy. I'd love a dedicated cab or two - like Robotron or Defender, but I doubt the missus would be thrilled at the initial investment.
Luckliy, she has agreed that, a nice minty Goliath Mk 3, or a Videomaster with an easily rotatable screen would be OK. If anyone has one they'd like to offload, send me a PM!
Cheers!
