Sorry, I got the monitor wrong. I’ve got a G05-805 in my asteroids cocktail. I never rewound the yoke it’s a vector monitor
Others have had this problem too it seems, but I'm not sure if it is a hardware or software problem, or a bit of both. I'm away until New Year but can do some testing when I get back. I would recommend trying an older version of the code from github (say from a year or 2 ago) as I have changed the line drawing routines and it could be that the older version works better on your setup. I'll do some testing myself in a couple of weeks and update here.Hi, sorry to resurrect an old thread.
Fantastic work! I built one but I am getting funny squigly vectors on my g02-805. Please see the pictures. Any ideas what could cause this? The crosshatch from my asteroids board is not like this so thinking it’s not the deflection board.
Thanks in advance for any help

Let us know how you get on with the build, and if you need any help.I ordered myself a few v3 boards from JLPCB. It was just as cheap to order 10 as it was 1.
I have 7 spare I may as well move on - £1 each per PCB plus postage:
£1.55 postage (2nd class - not recorded) in the UK
£3.30 1st class (again, not recorded delivery) in the UK
These won't be economical to post outside of the UK.
Payment my PP Gift (or pay the fees).
Drop me a PM if you want one.

Mouser want £2.72 each and given there are 19 required, it gets a bit pricey. Are there any cheaper alternatives you could suggest?
Oh Man, I had several boards delivered just over a week ago to set up my test rig for my G08 from a Star Trek Captains chair (would have saved you buying some), I also have several spare bare boards so if or when all yours are taken I have some for people. I plan to build mine up in the next week or so, I also have a Star wars running, Battlezone , Asteroids and a Star Castle projects all with Vector monitors that will need testing and sorting for sure. Great project and looking forward to getting stuck in.I ordered myself a few v3 boards from JLPCB. It was just as cheap to order 10 as it was 1.
