Any T keepers here by chance? Just got a Green Bottle Blue recently. Curious what you may have if anyone does?

Very nice. They recently changed the scientific name for those. they are no longer B. Smithi for whatever reason.

Lovely T though.

Thank you! The blue colour is certainly rather striking for a spider. I was tempted to call him Sonic.

Stunning. I love spiders.

We finally saw our first false widow this year. Lived under the light by our street door. Wasn't around too long but left a lovely egg sack. That disappeared a short while later.

Got a new type of spider, quite large, like a widow but a slightly different pattern, living en-mass under our hard standing gazebo. They're breeding like crazy, but the poor males keep getting wrapped up for a snack. The females insist on venturing onto each others webs and then there's a stand-off till one backs down.

Could watch them for hours.

I have 2 tarantulas. Been keeping reptiles for over 30 years.

Mexican red knee, and a Brazilian white knee. Also have a tangerine Honduran milksnake.Chopper792021-09-26 22:37:14
