All of my phones for the past few years have been Linux/Android

N900 > Milestone 2 > Xperia Mini Pro > Galaxy Nexus

Maemo was lovely but the device itself had problems. Motorola's customisation was horrific, as was Sony's but they have at least opened everything up so custom ROMs work really well. The Nexus I'm hoping will "just work". Gone with the Galaxy Nexus rather than the Nexus 4 as it can have an extended battery fitted - I'm a little tired of the battery life on just about everything nowadays.

Not particularly looking forward to giving up my keyboard though.

Android here but on a lowly Galaxy Ace running Rich Tea 2.3 or something. I may try one of the custom roms (pointers appreciated!)

I do like the look of the S3 and 4's etc but they don't look particularly pocket friendly, and I don't want to have to carry a man-bag around...
