Currently restoring a vintage "Rene pierre" arcade cabinet, today it got 3 button layout and I'd like to make a completely new one (to keep the old original) but thinking about if it would be possible to make a panel that is something like the ones used on Mortal Kombat 2 - or if these will be very "out of place" on such cab.
If anyone got any examples of modified control panels on similar classic machines it would be nice to see.
I think I can cramp in 6-7 buttons in the space of the original, but not much room left to rest the hand on. Planning on having it wired up with jamma switcher eventually and would need 6-7 button layout preferable.
