Just finished watching it. It's great to see some science on the telly. Went outside to lock up and the stars are out and it's crisp and clear. Given Jodrell's about ten miles away from us it looks like they're a bit unlucky tonight with the weather.
If anyone's in the vicinity of Jodrell Bank it's well worth a visit. The visitor's centre has been refurbished, and while it's on the small side and a little dry for kids compared so say the museum of science and industry, it's interesting none the less. If you pick a good day in the summer, you can sit outside and have some lunch in front of the dish. They have a really nice bistro/restaurant there now and the food is excellent. The main dish is a beautiful piece of engineering to look at.

Never mind Stargazing Live - I'm watching "Slash Made In Stoke" on Sky Arts 1 HD. Oll, I'm disappointed you're not

I'm meant to be going to the SG Live event at Moors Valley country park tomorrow night, but I think it might be snowed off at this rate. Already got about 10cm of snow here in Dorset.

Have you read Slash's autobiography? Quite an eye opener.

I thought I abused by body during my clubbing days, but I don't feel so bad after reading about Slash's antics
