Arduino arcade stick 5 pin pinout ?

Só I wired up a Arduino last night

Everything works fine
Except 🤨
Up right diagonal ?

Any one know the pinout on a hori rap arcade stick or soul Calibur v Xbox stick ?

I have all grounds connected in a snap lock connector

Double checked all connection positions

Up down left right on their own are fine ,
All buttons fine .

Up & tight combined just stops ?

Like it’s causing a conflict and always up right diagonal I’m thinking possibly the micro switches ?

Confirmed that it is actually activating both microswitches when in the top right diagonal position, you should also be able to map the pinout using a multimeter set to continuity and activating each direction to work out which pin is which direction and which is the common ground.

What iv jist done is connect it to mame.

This gave me

All the corresponding Incorrect
Connections . Só I could now rearrange Só they are all correct ( acorrdimg to mame !)

Só if mame is correct ..
It’s telling me that my wiring is all over place !

What iv now down is
Re wire it to what mame likes.

Só up is up etc..

Played a few games to check diag and all good on mame!
Just need to check it on mister.

Seems Arduino wants a slightly diffrent configuration than what SanwA /seimitsu /hori standerd is ..
