Years and years and years ago I was offered a Cray 1 minus the cooling planet equipment for $7000, plus p+p

That's excellent Thanks for spotting the link and posting it up. I've always wanted an old Cray and when I used to collect big old Unix iron I almost had the chance, but it was the cooling and power that foiled it. The electricity company wanted a fortune to provide a three-phase hookup too
