are they Atari or Namco? I have a stack of single Atari boards available.

The PP1 (full size) are Atari boards (or, at least, the top one is - probably not a mix 'n' match, so I guess both boards are Atari).
I'll check on the PP2 probably Wednesday evening.

I'd already forgotten about the 2 x CPU boards (PP1) and 1 x video board (from a PP1), all Atari, I got for a total of £10 at the warehouse. They're in significantly better condition (than the boards in the cabs) and once the leaking batteries are changed on the CPU boards they'll be in good enough physical condition to power up.

So all is not lost yet!

I don't know about the monitor in the PP1 (full size) - the board and power supply blocks are in such poor condition there's no way I'm powering it up, but I suspect monitors are a lot easier to get hold of (and get repaired) than game boards!

If I do need any of your boards, I'm down your way at least once a month, so could pick them up.

Ade,

Can you take a pic of your Twin Cobra boards please? I was the guy that got the other Twin Cobra. I thought there was supposed to be two boards.

Si

Can't get a pic yet (still got to drill out the lock), but a bit of touchy-feely shows mine to be a double-stack board.

I do remember Alpha1 saying one of the Twin Cobras had a different (newer??) board - might be yours I guess.

Only joking though dude. It's a cool cab to own, how many people have one

I like having stuff hardly any others have, must be others in the world somewhere but great machine what ever condition and nothing that can't be sorted, just the pcb/drive stuff that might be a pain

Lol no worries there dude, yep Hot Rod already semi stripped and given a quick clean down, and the rust will soon be non existant, but that's for another thread.

The cab behind had a P-47 Freedom Fighter marquee (inside out though)

Yeah; if only my psychic powers were working, I'd have known I'd be picking up a P-47 board at the second location.
Grrrr!

Where was it as Ive just bought that cab.

Martin, did you get that cab with the P-47 marquee in the end?

I've just powered up the P-47 board but it needs a little work...

... Some odd graphics artifacts (maybe 40 odd single pixel dots at random positions on the boot-up DIP switch pages, then some weird lines around 5mm long around the Jaleco logo and around 3 vertical lines - also around 5mm long - crossed through the player's plane).

Also has no sound (at least the last stages of the amp seem OK - there is a buzz, and it does get louder if you turn up the volume control).

I don't like the game enough to have money spent on repairing it, but it might be worth it (paying for repairs) to someone who has a P-47 cabinet but no board.

If you want it; it's yours (so long as you cover the postage).
