I started this project when I wanted to create a poster to go up on the wall of my computing lab at work (for the students to look at) from a bbc micro schematic. The schematic is the one that comes with the welcome guide can't remember if it was the intro one the red/green or the blue/yellow assembler one. I've got both (this is google image)

Anyway I was just gonna blow this up but it looked awful, so I scanned it in two parts and stitched it back together. It was quite tricky to stitch back together but I did a good enough approximation to start vectorise it.

I decide to use Illustrator to convert this, not very good at it but thought I would learn a little. I've been doing it on and off for a year or so, came back to it today.

This is my current progress, I've done fully about a 9th of the entire schematic.

Hopefully I'll get it finished at which point I'll share the file

I can remember being really disappointed when I discovered that the 'Tube' was just a couple of TTL buffer chips - it sounded so much more exciting!
