I'm sure the first run will sell out very quickly. You can certainly put me down for a copy, but understand if you're just going to do first-come-first-served on release.

Yeah sorry, I'm not keeping a list. However I will be doing everything I can to make sure everyone that wants a copy can get one. I will post here when it is available...

@Phil, ..... How on earth did you get it so rock solid without any wobble? Did you fit a new transformer?

I've spent more hours than I care to remember inside my main Vectrex and it still wobbles like a belly dancer with a hula hoop

Some time later...did you ever read this? Not sure it's the problem you're seeing, but interesting nonetheless, especially with it's conclusion!

I hadn't, but I have now. And unfortunately, I have to disagree with the TL;DR;

The default Vectrex screen update frequency is 50Hz, so, as luck would have it, for countries with a 50Hz mains supply i.e. most of the world, the wobble is imperceptible as it happens really slowly
Next time you're in the UK come and look at my vectrex. Take your pick, any of the 3 will do, assuming any of them will power up on a given day and you'll see just how perceptible the wobble is :LOL:

The TL;DR is proven fact, but, yes, I don't think it's what you're seeing, this was proved by having a ROM that could it's display refresh changed live from 59/60/61Hz to 49/50/51Hz (or something like that). People in America confirmed theirs didn't wobble at 60Hz but did at 50Hz, Europeans confirmed the opposite.

Your problem is probably old integrator capacitors or some other mains voltage getting onto the screen. It'd be good to see a known good Vectrex running on your flakey mains 🙈

Flakey mains ain't wrong. Been getting regular power cuts here, like every few weeks. They finally had the road up a couple of weeks back and I think they've fixed it but not before it's killed off some of my smarthome stuff. And the lights were still doing a disco here at 2am Saturday.
