Best cheapo handheld device?

I'm trying to buy my 2 grand kids a portable 'gameboy' device for xmas - needs to have a gazillion nes style games on it, a reasonable screen and rugged.

Anyone found a good one among the millions about for £20 or under each?

We have not had anything as rugged as one of those all three of my kids have used it
For years droped it down the stairs ect
And it is still going strong now 10 years later you can get those bootleg nes multicarts for them as well as the full
Nintendo back catalog
