I never use my Twilight Zone pinball so I am considering selling it.

Anyone have any experience of the best place to places to sell pinball machines in the UK? Ebay, Facebook, Dealers (Pinball Heaven etc..), UK pinball forums (is there one?). Somewhere here?

Edit .. Not sure if they are still running? I JUST LOOKED BACK AT MY LOG IN DETAILS not been there in ages and last activity was in 2024 so pinballinfo is off menu!!

Original suggestion… Try looking at - pinballinfo.com - it’s a similar forum discussion group to this one but more about pinball collecting etc than video gaming which is the mainstay here.
But there is a pinball section …. In ukvac.

Twilight Zone is a much sought after model so if you ask it should generate a lot of interest … good luck selling it

Personally I have always used eBay some go well others not so well but ask someone for an estimate of value before you list so you have an idea of expected price . It can vary depending on who’s looking to buy - often dealers who want cheap ish to sell on tarted up for quick cash?

Pinballinfo is very much alive and well!! Not sure if you're going to the wrong site (or domain typo)?

HEAVY APOLOGIES PINBALLINFO is OK
My error… seems I never logged out from when I last visited around that time and somehow the forum had frozen on me “general pinball discussion” ‘page 45’ now , not page 1 .. all that time ago … so going there I got a frozen page 45 from 2024?

Silly me I had to log out , then sign in fresh again to clear the freeze out , DOH!!!!

Thanks G-man

+1 for pinball info forum, there is a good valuation thread on there as well to get an idea of current value.

Possibly would get a higher price on eBay or Facebook, but likely to have to deal with more time wasters.

You do have to make a site donation to be able to list in the first sale section on pinballinfo.

Highly recommend getting a realistic valution of a site like pinballinfo.com, and if the machine is not in pristine well maintained condition (which I assume because you are not a collector with many machines and a workshop) I highly recommend selling to someone from a forum for the lower ballpark on a no-refunds condition.

I have restored/repaired 30-ish pinball machines with my FIL over the last three years. They always have issues than you expect and can be flakey after transport. You don’t want to sell for max price and get a complaint from a buyer that stuff doesnt work anymore. Its not worth the headache…

I am unfamiliar with UK prices, they tend to be lower than NL, but I think a stock TZ (no expensive mods) would be between £4500-£6500 depending on condition.

Good luck
