Boiler Costs

Anyone got any opinions on Intergas / Atmos boilers? I was looking at them due to the fact they can accept preheated water for example from solar

Lots of guys on the forum rave about Intergas TBH, not a lot of parts to go wrong, nice big waterways that don't clog up as easy as other boilers. A bit fugly though

A Vaillant install will be 2k + I'd imagine mate, using your old gear with a heat only boiler of decent make(Ideal Logics are a good boiler and have a 7 year warranty too) you should be able to get it done for about £1500.

Yes...the boiler itself was about £1300 I seem to recall...it was quite a big job, the boiler was put in a completely different place, which meant gas pipes etc being put there, and it also meant a change of shower as well. I think it all came to about £2700, and that was with a mate doing it as well.

I'll take fugly if it keeps working.. then i can spend the savings on more important things.. old broken arcade games
