Got this original GnG cab which has actually been cut into a different shape by someone trying to convert it (aargh). Also the CP is non original and a mess.
Other than those major items the cab is good give or take some other repairs and a monitor. I have an original joystick to fit when ready and have given up on a pcb cage but it will still be amazing.

Can anyone with an original cab answer the following or know who to ask:

Does the true side panel line go vertically straight down from CP to ground height or is it slightly sloped towards the cab? I'll try to dowel and glue some wood extensions to regain the original shape.

Anyone got plans or access to an original CP that could be copied or scanned by a metal worker? There's various threads on the US forums and some previous copy runs have been done but those that did them keep the data close to their chest for all the wrong reasons.

Crikey looks like he cut it with his dick ! lol. Be nice ones done though, You doing it to totally original ??

Dave.
Hoping to yes. All the cabinet internals are originals anyway and I have multiple spares of original parts except the control panel. Don't expect to get an original there but hoping to have a copy made.

I've always liked the look of this cab, I don't understand why someone would cut the front off like that though?

I remember seeing this exact cab back in the day, but never saw a dedicated one for Ghouls and Ghosts, that was always chucked into a chip shop special :(

It's gutting they've sliced it but should be repairable - atleast to the eye anyway.
Ghouls never had its own cab - it was an HS1 generally. I've got a nice one sitting next to the Ghosts n Goblins which is such a great cab.
Also got some spare HS1 control panels if anyone needs a sweetener to helping out with the Ghosts'n Goblins CP data....

So the only Ghouls and Ghosts cabs in the wild have all me converted from other Dynamo HS-1's?

Where did all the artwork come from, it looks like it was made in the same factory as Ghosts and Goblins.

As far as I know, I believe I am the only owner of the original panel from the game "Ghouls & Ghosts" (CAPCOM). In fact, it was my first original collector's item 17 years ago.

I scanned this control panel and I also think I am the only one with the original file where the dot pattern of the skulls can be seen. There is a copy on the internet based on the screenshots I showed in my restoration.

Regarding the rest of the "Ghouls & Ghosts" artwoks, I have restored them all and, as I always do, I used the same colors in each of the pieces to avoid the Frankenstein effect and for all the colors to be coherent . Example: same yellow in Marquee, Bezel and CPO.

Artwork arcade "Ghouls´n Ghosts Side Art" restoration comparative. Mikonos (Zona Arcade).

Regarding the arcade game "Ghosts' N Goblins", I have also restored all the arts too. Recently I had the possibility of printing the side arts again in another mode with full cutting. I restored them more than 10 years ago.

Regarding the layout of the control panel controls, it came with some marks to place the joystick and buttons, but I do not have the design to make a metal control panel for the arcade cabin that you indicate, yet.

Cheers!
