Can anyone help with PHP forums?

Im trying to upload a new theme to my small Zac forum http://www.zaccaria.co.uk which I run using PHP and Hostpresto, I cant seem to get it to recognize new theme's ive downloaded though....

Does anyone use this?

Looks ok. I might still have my phpbb3 forum setup on a Server somewhere so I can probably look at this for you. I was running v3.X not so long ago. What is your forum version?

Can you give me a link to the style?

Ok I can see the issue. You don't have a style.cfg file at the root of the Proglass_red folder and that's why there's no option to install it in the ACP

I've updated my forum software on an VM to 3.1.2 which is what you are running....and I get the same issue.

The problem is related to the fact that I don't think the styles you are using are compatible with 3.1.2

If I modify the style.cfg file in the Proglass_red folder with the following entries:

style_version = 3.1.2
phpbb_version = 3.1.2

It lists the style in the Admin CP so I can install it, but once I've successfully done that and applied the style, it didn't seem to allow me to change it

Doh, it might be because i didn't clear the cache!....that's worth a go

Anyway those modifications will let you install it, as the styles now have a version check
