Crusin USA Full Motion - how much be worth?

Hi, this is a bit of a strange topic. I'd like to ask how much a CrusinUSA Full Motion might be worth - fully functional. Does anyone have any ideas on how to value it?

The sit down single cruisin USA is probably worth around 2k so at a guess id say yours is worth a bit more. Specially as it has motion.
Is it fully original hardware?

It's fully functional, and the base is currently powder-coated. New paint and stickers. The hardware is original. I have three units, two fully functional, one is a donor part. Once I assemble the second unit, I'll be able to connect them into a dual cab.

Cruisin USA like you say was a poorly made cash grab. But games by midway are pretty sort after and any motion cab with original hardware is the icing on the cake. A collector with large storage would snap it up

But it's by Midway in partnership with Nintendo (released before the console ad was supposed to be an idea of what was to come), I get the motion cab tax, but given how many of the Midway games of this era sit unsold for some time here or go for a few hundred, I can't really see this being worth more than a grand (not that I am any pricer of cabs), given the price mentioned above for a none mover.

Yep. Prices of cabs now are all over the place. For example the neogeo games im selling have gone to silly prices. I think its due to most hardware hitting their end of life but at the end of the day people will only pay what they think its personally worth. Dont want the original poster to lose out because he thinks his unit is worthless

Oh, I agree it's not worthless, but don't think it's up there with an Afterburner or Powerdrift :D

Prices have been mentioned in another thread recently, it was kinda considered prices have peaked and the older we get the less they will fetch, like classic cars and antique furniture it's a mostly generational thing.

Yep the big after burner was a beast lol.
Prices have levelled off and to be honest I am really only just getting into the cab scene. But as i build and run an electronics business and ive been gaming since 1980 I have seen a change this year alone. Consoles and fake arcades (arcade 1ups for example) will lose nearly all value but the older stuff. Old 80s and 90s cabs even the old amiga and atari st games will go through the roof. Even if they dont work. People seam to crave the old days. Specially as todays feelings are "you wont own it and you will like it" mentality.
Digital copys piss me off. 😋

It's tough one unless you find hard core fans of the game, I really like Sitdown cabs and Sitdown Motion cabs are super cool, I'd buy all of them if I had the space but thats main issue, most have ran out of space, most say they don't have space for standard sitdown drivers that aren't even that big

years back I saw Cisco Heat motion cab not get starting bid for £10 (back when a poor Afterburner Dlx you'd see for £50 and £150 BIN OutRun Dlx) , it's very rare cab but how many played the game, not me! would have bought it if space not an issue

I've never played these type midway drivers, had parts of the cabs and have the FFB wheel units in my driving machines, mame was slow running them so not been able to play them, hopefully when i've got these cabs working i can get to play them with all the other driving games

Looks pretty fun in this video though, worth £1000 easy but should be more than that as many people must have played them and liked it

Ive used a standard chinese joypad controller with the resistors cut to allow the analogue controls to work from a standard arcade wheel(potentiometer) wouldnt know where to start with the FFB though
