This is currently 'on sale' and if you have PlayStation Plus, you can get 44% off the whopping, ridiculous, just plain stupid 'normal' price of £49.99. If you don't have PS Plus, it's 34% off.

Still, even at £27.99 (the same current price as the digital version of Star Wars Battlefront), and despite the good reviews, I just don't think I can bring myself to do it - it just seems way too much for a digital version of a 2D shooter.

I'll wait until they see a bit more sense and grab it when there's 60% off.

It's currently £29.99 on steam mate. I bought it when it was first released at a discounted price, I can't remember what it was but it was worth it. £49.99 is certainly a bit steep for a digital copy tbh.

Well after listening to the 10p arcade podcast with the interview with Alpha1 and subsequent research regarding Dariusburst ex etc I bought it for the ps4 today and I have to say it's the best £20 I've spent in a very long time. What a great game and looks amazing on my 75" samsung telly.

Just thinking about how it would be possible to get this game running in a cab of some sort. Presumably a PC running Steam, with the usual iPac setup would do the trick? Never thought I'd consider owning an arcade cab with an LCD screen in it, but this would be a good excuse to do something. Could be done pretty cheaply too I reckon with a decased 32" TV or something. Hmm..
