I like it, a nice compact bit of kit and works as expected. The only bad point I would make is the volume pot needs a decent knob! There has been a bit of an arms race in development recently and there are about 5 different images to try, each with their own good and bad points. The version of arpicade I ported really just uses the bare bones of the DIY image, all of the resolution switching code is new and based on existing pi2jamma code so I should stop calling it arpicade really!
If you keep up with the news on the Facebook group you might have heard about the new resolution auto switching code being written into Retroarch, this should mean we can do away with all of the switching scripts and get an experience much more like groovymame and less tinkering to knife and fork exceptions in, to give you an idea, my version now runs to around 540 lines of code and is a pain to keep updated!
I'd be happy to lend it to you after Revival if you'd like a play before buying one?
